MORAM is run by the people of the land, the people from the nearby tribal village- The marginalized community of Birbhum. It provides livelihood opportunities to many. They are forever indebted to their roots, their soil which is suffused with their soul. Once you are at MORAM, it never leaves your mind. MORAM is not just a project, it's more than that. It holds a sense of Art and Aesthetics at its core. It gives the experience of rural living. It holds the stories of the lost tribe, people who have been pushed back for centuries. People who have been marginalized and oppressed for the longest time. MORAM gives them a new definition of living.

The tree may touch the sky with its branches spreading higher up to meet the sky for its amorous dues, but the roots will ensure that the tree is safe and most importantly is ALIVE! In our eco-system we forget to remain close to our roots, later shattered into pieces, we try to cling near it again, but what if you get to be near the roots of Nature, unblemished by any impurity, unperturbed from the hustle and bustle of the urban life, a pure bucolic eco-village where you can again seek for your soul?
